The Connect Hyde Park project will be at Home Day on Saturday, September 15th, 2018.  There are a few ways you can connect with us to find out more about the project and to see how you can participate.

Come see us at our booth!
The Connect Hyde Park Project will be at Home Day!  Look for our red-roofed tent in the heart of the action on Home Day.  At our booth, we’ll have a few activities that you can participate in to help us better understand the community, and we’ll be there to talk to you about the project and what it’s trying to achieve.  We’re also planning something fun for kids!

Join a “Walk & Talk” on Home Day to share your village improvement ideas
Want to add some ‘curb appeal’ to Hyde Park Village? Want to help make the streets safer for kids? We want to hear what you think of the Hyde Park Village streets, and how we could test some potential improvements. On Home Day, join us after the parade for one of three short “Walk and Talks.”

These informal walks are a chance to tour the village with street design experts and talk with your neighbors about street safety, walkability, bikeability, aesthetics, accessibility and more. Share your thoughts and ideas and learn about some potential street improvements. In the spring, we’ll pilot some of your ideas using temporary “pop-up” installations. Walks will leave at 1:15, 1:45 & 2:30 from the Connect Hyde Park booth. Each walk will be approximately 20-25 minutes. If you don’t want to join a scheduled walk, pick up a self-guided map or look for posters asking for your feedback!
